We are pleased to r eport that initial planning is underway for our sp ring 2017 meeting, and we now have the venue and dates. The spring 2017 m eeting will be held at St. Mary's College of Maryl and on March 16-18. Yes, astute AERSians will note that this is the weeke nd of St. Patrick's Day, so maybe bring your Ulva colored hats! More details will be coming s oon, but please hold those dates!Thanks again to everyone who participated in a ve ry successful fall 2016 meeting at the Community College of Baltimore County in Maryland. In all, we had a little more than 60 paid attendees with 5 keynote pre sentations, 20 contributed talks (7 by students), and 16 contributed poster s (13 by students).All of the info below is pertaining to our last meeting, but we expect full details about the upcomg spring meeting to be posted by early February.The Atlantic Estuarine Research Society (AERS) meets twice a year. There is a Spring meeing and a Fall meeting. During odd-numbered years, the fall meeting of AERS is held in concert with the C oastal and Estuarine Research Federation Meeting (CERF). In even numbered years, AERS meets in the fall under a similar format to our annual spring meetings. |
