About

The Coastal and Estuarine Research Federation (CERF) provides travel awards to support students and early career members attending and presenting at JASM 2022. Students and early career professionals in need of financial assistance to attend the 2022 conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan, may request support from the CERF’s William E. Odum/Scott Nixon Memorial Award. Awards typically range from $300 to $400 per person. Student/Early Career Travel Awards are strictly to offset JASM 2022 expenses such as registration, technology/equipment, travel, and/or childcare for attendance. Students are encouraged to use this award as leverage to gain additional support from their academic department or employer.

To apply for Student/Early Career Travel Awards, please fill out our Google Form by 1 March 2022. If you have any questions before applying, please email [email protected].
